Cantabrian Maritime Museum Restaurant and Terrace in Santander

The award-winning restaurant and terrace of the Cantabrian Maritime Museum in Santander created by the renowned Spanish architecture and interior design firm Zooco, is a happy expression of the development of an iconic space in the area, the Maritime Museum, in continuity with its heritage, enriched with a new convivial function. In creating this sensational new restaurant space with a terrace that juts out to the sea on the second floor of the museum, Zooco Studio defined a unique design language that emphasizes the stylistic essence of brutalism. Matter is considered and interpreted as a linear element to define space. The architects' choice of ATLAS CONCORDE's Boost Natural Ecru raw earth-effect flooring sits rigorously within the project, enhancing its overall material effect. Atlas Concorde's concrete-effect porcelain tiles , in fact, dialogues perfectly with the brutalist architecture of the space, amplifying the effect of the forms. Moreover, the great durability and easy handling of these stone-effect tiles is a plus for high-use commercial activities.

Mussol Caspe Restaurant, Barcelona by Carlos Martinez Interiors

Within the Barcelona restaurant chain Mussol, the Mussol Caspe steakhouse, designed and built by Barcelona-based Carlo Martinez Interiors, recently opened. It is a new conviviality space that reproduces a sophisticated industrial style atmosphere, following the guidelines of one of the most established and experienced architectural firms with hundreds of projects under its belt. The steakhouse function itself is also emphasized and enhanced by the choice of materials. In particular, the choice for the flooring of Atlas Concorde's Brave Earth stone effect creates a remarkable impact in the environment because of its strongly textured effect and is perfectly consistent with the project's theme because, as the architects state, the ash-colored floors take us to the ashes of embers and the pillars with fire-red stucco of burning embers. The ultimate goal of the project was to create a venue with a warm atmosphere, with a strong sensory and material impact through an orchestration of all materials to evoke the pleasure of moments spent next to the warmth of the fire. The industrial style of the venue, in fact, finds its focus above all in the use and coexistence of different materials: woods, metals, and the stone-effect flooring of Atlas Concorde porcelain stoneware that warmed and revitalized the environment.Testifying to the success of the project is the win for its category of the FOOD AND SPECE AWARDS 2024.

Za Zù Restaurant and Club, Sofia by Antonium

Sofia-based Antonium Studio founded by one of Bulgaria's best-known interior designers, Eng. Anton Kuzkin, has created Za Zù Restaurant and Club, a kind of urban spin-off in the capital of the renowned Za Zù Sunny Beach restaurant overlooking the Black Sea.Conceived primarily as a meeting place dedicated to both good food and conviviality, with entertainment late into the night, it was built following the canons of glamorous luxury and an eclectic contemporary style.

L'art de vivre is the restaurant's motto, which ties in well with its sensory and enveloping aesthetic that seems to almost resonate with people.

Tiles from the Marvel Gala series in Atlas Concorde's Desert Soul color inspired by the quartzite of South American volcanoes cover the restaurant's floors, reflecting the refined style of the guests. Gold threads are a unifying accent in this shimmering show of colors and shapes.

Two colorways from Atlas Concorde's Marvel Gala collection were also used for the bathroom wall tiles to create an enveloping and sumptuous color effect. Calacatta Black evoking the volcanic lands of Iceland with shades from gray to black and Desert Soul with light and warm tones like the atmospheres of the South American desert.

Atlas Concorde's Marvel Gala collection is inspired by the beauty of fine and sought-after natural stones. Their use in a project with a glamorous and eclectic style, lights up and paints the spaces giving them a touch of exclusivity at times surprising.

A successful space, it was declared the winner in 2023 for the Public Interiors, Café, Bar and Dining category.
