On the occasion of the FuoriSalone 2025, Atlas Concorde announces its presence at the Interni Cre-Action exhibition-event at the University of Milan.
The installation ‘MAGMA - Alle origini della creatività’ (MAGMA - At the origins of creativity), designed by the One Works studio in collaboration with Whitby Wood, will be set up in the Cortile d'Onore of the University.
Through this important project, Atlas Concorde confirms its central role in the contemporary design scene, contributing with its surfaces to a work of great visual and conceptual impact.
An immersive experience of design, materials and nature
‘MAGMA’ is an immersive installation that interprets the creative and transformative force of nature, inspired by the model of plate tectonics.
The work invites the visitor to reflect on change as an essential element of contemporary life, creating a dialogue between nature, architecture and design imagination.
The route through the installation, punctuated by volumes and crevices, is defined by large ceramic surfaces by Atlas Concorde, used to create a geometric and textured landscape that immerses the visitor in an evocative and engaging environment.
Atlas Concorde brings ceramics to the heart of the project
Boost Expression Carbon, the collection designed by Elisa Ossino for Atlas Concorde, was chosen for the floor of the installation.
A contemporary interpretation of handmade concrete, characterised by a strong colour and a surface that conveys textural depth, visual impact and naturalness.
The choice of the colour Carbon directly recalls the theme of the installation, offering a modern interpretation of magma, linked to the concepts of energy and transformation.
Like the MAGMA installation, the Boost Expression collection is also the result of research on materials inspired by the earth and its processes, thus creating a coherent and deep link between architectural design and surfaces.
With Boost Expression Carbon, Atlas Concorde contributes to defining the material and contemporary character of the installation, offering a surface capable of communicating with the design concept and with the idea of transforming nature that the work interprets.
Atlas Concorde surfaces don't just cover, but become an integral part of the architectural identity of MAGMA, reinforcing the dialogue between design and nature that represents the heart of the entire installation.
