Atlas Concorde shines at Cersaie 2024
Atlas Concorde stood out as a key player during the event, attracting many visitors to the stand showcasing the brands Atlas Concorde, Atlas Plan, and Atlas Concorde Habitat. Uniqueness has a Place is the theme that identifies and encapsulates the concept behind the stand's design. A unique experience with creative partnerships from top-tier excellence across various sectors. Five brand-new collections were launched, each designed to offer exclusive effects: Boost Expression, the unmatched cement effect by Elisa Ossino; Boost Icor, which highlights the beauty of limestone stones; Marvel Diva, inspired by ten magnificent marbles; Log, with its innovative oak effect; and Log Cansei, which introduces the refined beech effect.
Cersaie 2024 trends
Atlas Concorde's trendsetter vocation was also evident in the connection between the collections presented at Cersaie and the most advanced trends observed during the event.
Inspirational Nature
This trend highlights the proposal of new porcelain stoneware solutions that seek naturalness as the main expression of this material's aesthetic, capable of capturing the truest and most extraordinary essence of nature. The aesthetic and functional research today aims at achieving an almost perfect realism, with truly remarkable results, especially in the inspiration drawn from natural stones.
The new Boost Icor line fully embraces this trend, with six indoor-outdoor spaces designed by Archea Associati. At the heart of the project is Boost Icor's limitless versatility, offering infinite possibilities for use and composition. It is born from the combination of the warmth of the limestone stone effect with Atlas Concorde's style. This project has a strong outdoor vocation and is also dedicated to cladding, where its 3D surfaces create highly refined aesthetic effects with a color palette of six shades. It is a collection that allows for great stylistic versatility, combining small formats with large slabs, suitable even for unconventional spaces, such as cladding for niches or sections of walls.
Sensorial Warmness
A second interesting trend focuses on the sensory aspect as the main goal of innovation. Everyday living spaces, as well as vacation experiences, are perceived as a nest in which one feels enveloped, reassured, and comforted. In nature, wood has always been the primary material for designs with these characteristics. Recently, innovation in porcelain stoneware has focused on achieving a result that, while remaining faithful to the material, increasingly combines the perceptual qualities of wood with greater aesthetic accuracy.
Atlas Concorde at Cersaie In line with this important trend is LOG World, where the first two collections, LOG and LOG Cansei, were presented. They were born from the collaboration with ITLAS, a Veneto-based company located in Cordignano, a leader in the production of natural wood surfaces. LOG Cansei, in particular, is a unique offering because it marks the first time that beechwood from the Cansiglio Forest, which ITLAS uses as its raw material, has been recreated on a porcelain stoneware tile. LOG, on the other hand, offers the oak wood effect, prized for both its visual and tactile qualities.
Iconic Beauty
The beauty of nature is represented by an array of infinite color possibilities and highly refined graphic effects. By observing it, everyone is constantly surprised and receives creative inspiration that is never the same. This trend emphasizes the importance and appeal of marble effects in porcelain stoneware with a highly refined character. Without distorting its natural identity, but rather making it extraordinary. This important trend is reflected in the new Marvel Diva collection, which draws inspiration from ten rare and precious marbles, featuring bold graphics and veining that emphasize the iconic natural dimension of the offering.
Materic Character
In this trend, the material becomes the core of the project itself, which year after year is reaffirming its appeal to creatives and the public. It’s not just about enhancing it from a functional standpoint, but also considering it as a stylistic element to define spaces and give them a unique character. In this trend, creative inspiration is focused on the exploration of new natural materials, along with a growing interest in the cement effect.
Boost Expression perfectly highlights the features of this trend, especially through its focus on studying, experimenting, and showcasing the material characteristics, transforming them into striking design elements. Born from the collaboration with architect and designer Elisa Ossino, this collection of wall coverings and decorations features a strong three-dimensional effect with geometric and textured patterns in a palette of ten warm colors.
In general, the central role of porcelain stoneware in design, both in private settings and in the hospitality and contract sectors, has been reaffirmed. There is an increasing affinity from consumers toward this material, which is becoming more well-known, appreciated, and in demand. Porcelain stoneware is now considered a key element in furnishing many domestic spaces due to its adaptability to various creative needs and the continuous innovations it offers.
