The allure of marble brings out the luxury of W Hotel Budapest

05 April 2024

The innate elegance of marble-effect porcelain tiles adorns the W Hotel Budapest, where history and modernity come together.

Located in the iconic Drechsler Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the W Hotel Budapest reflects the beating heart of a city rich in history. An ambitious project with a bold soul, where the excellence of Atlas Concorde's porcelain tile surfaces proves to be the ideal choice for defining sophisticated environments whose absolute imperative is customer comfort.

The project features marble-effect surfaces with a contemporary character, defining a style capable of blending the more traditional traits of a city like Budapest with the modernity of the well-known W Hotels chain, combining sophisticated design with the functional advantages of porcelain tiles, such as high non-slip performance and resistance to wear.

In the sumptuous bathrooms of the 151 rooms and suites, the iconic Marvel Dream and Marvel Shine collections in the respective colors of Black Atlantis and Statuario Supremo contrast with each other to create dramatic geometries that accentuate interactive reflections. The result is an expansion of space that conveys a sensation of infinity to guests.

The Marvel Dream and Marvel Shine marble-effect collections were also used for the ceramic tile floor of the hotel's restaurant, where the purity of the snow-white background crisscrossed by a network of gray veins alternates with deep black, enriched by light brush strokes. The result is a design characterized by a glamorous style with retro touches.

The W Hotel Budapest offers an esthetic narrative that celebrates history by drawing inspiration from the city's iconic architecture. Here the marble-effect surfaces of Atlas Concorde become the hallmark of a contemporary style, capable of combining sophisticated design with superior performance in terms of hygiene, cleaning, and maintenance.
