Around Design Venezia 2024: design, productivity, customisation

04 September 2024

The journey in stages of Around Design. Meet. Talk. Connect. continues. An itinerant cycle of conferences and meetings aimed at our community of architects and interior designers. A cultural project with a strong international vocation, born with the aim of generating exchanges and valuable content, through debates and sharing.

This time the appointment will be held in Venice, in the Terrazza Cinematografo by Atlas Concorde, located inside the Hotel Excelsior, cultural and historical symbol of the city. A location full of charm, where installation by Atlas Concorde, with its Atlas Plan brand, blend harmoniously with the glamour of the cinema, giving back an evocative space, with a contemporary design, perfect to welcome the world of international design.

Protagonists of the round table, for this edition: speakers Fabrizio Gaggio, Co-CEO of Starhotels, Maurizio Vianello, CEO of Valcucine, Lorenzo De Maria and Anna Scarabello of 3ndy Studio and moderator Gianni Roveda, Head of Contract Department of Colombini Group.

The focus of the meeting on 2 September will be on design, productivity and customisation, in order to identify visions and strategies to optimise the design chain. In this regard, several themes will be investigated during the meeting, in order to improve the efficiency of operational cycles and gain competitiveness.

Productivity and Customisation will be discussed. How to reconcile the industrialisation of processes, with the optimisation of economic sustainability, while maintaining high levels of aesthetic quality, and to what extent customisation is a strength and not a constraint.

The meeting will also explore the topic of Research and Development, arguing the importance of investing in new technologies to remain a market leader.

The role of the customer will be addressed, exploring evolving needs and expectations. We will get to the heart of the production chain, exploring new challenges and opportunities. Finally, we will talk about the global market, to understand the differences in the standards required, both aesthetic and performance.

Another opportunity not to be missed to explore current issues and new perspectives in the sector.
